Anna Sui Rouge Jar Lip Tint in 001

Anna Sui Rouge Jar Lip Tint in 001

What they say:
I went on the Anna Sui website but I couldn't find the product on there. I really don't like their website. It's hard to navigate and find certain products! The packaging itself didn't have a description either. If it weren't for makeupalley I would have not known that this product changes colours! (BLAH! Design talk haha)

My Review (Skintype: Oily-Combination skin)
I got the Anna Sui Rouge Jar Lip Tint in 001 for my birthday. To be honest, when I first saw it I thought it was just a clear gloss but I thought it was weird how it was called a lip tint. I did some research on the product and it's an interesting product. It changes colour! :)

Hit or Miss? HIT! If you are looking for a non-sticky, natural cherry-pink lips then you need to purchase this.

Packaging: The usual rose design on the black lid with a clear plastic pot. I'm not a fan of the pot. I typically tend to go for tubes.

Scent: The signature rose scent all Anna Sui products have. I know a lot of people dislike the rose scent especially guys but I love the smell of roses so I don't mind it. It's quite strong at first but it wears off.

Texture: It's a gel but it's super creamy, moisturizing and leaves a pretty sheen on the lips without being sticky. One reason why I don't wear gloss is because I hate it when it sticks to my hair and it glides on to my face...yuck. haha But this is sticky-freeeeeeee! :)

Pigmentation: It really depends on the person. It changes colour based on the heat of your body. For me, when I'm in a warm environment the colour is more of a cherry red whereas if I were in a cold environment the colour is a fuchsia pink. Pretty cool huh? It's a nice colour but very natural and healthy looking. Even after eating or drinking because it is a lip tint the colour remains on your lips.

Where can you find this? In Canada you can find Anna Sui products at Sears or Murale. At Murale it's close to $25 tax included.

Rating: 5/5
I would say this is a pretty cool product! When I don't feel like wearing a lot of makeup and I want a natural look, I always use this product with a simple black liner, mascara and some blush.

Let me know if you have any questions loves! I would love to answer them :)
Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Long-Wear Eyeshadow in 83 Ilusoire

What Chanel says it does:
This intensely shimmering long-wear eyeshadow offers true versatility. An innovative gel texture that is both soft and cushiony allows it to be worn as eyeshadow or eyeliner. Includes a specially designed shadow/liner brush, developed specifically for this unique formula.

Hit or Miss? HIT!
(Skintype: Oily-Combination skin)

Colour: I got Illusoire 83. It is a smoky mauve but could also look grayish with a silvery sheen. It's has a multi-coloured shimmer effect so it's great for a night out look.

Packaging: I mean it's chanel! haha It's always sleek- A glass pot with a black lid. It comes with a cute little brush that almost resembles a lipstick brush. Comes with a lid. I'm not sure if I like the brush as much because the brush is a bit flimsy and not to mention small. I usually just apply it with my finger.

Consistency: The texture is quite interesting. It's a gel-based eyeshadow but it's soft, creamy and cushiony. Almost feels like mousse- squishy&bouncy. It's very buildable - you can intensify the colour from sheer to very pigmented.

Longevity: It lasts quite long without creasing, fading, or smudging. Once it sets, it really doesn’t budge with or without a primer. I would say it's sweat proof. (I have oily eye lids so trust me when I say it doesn't budge!)

How to apply: You can apply it with the brush that is provided but I prefer to use my ring finger. It glides on the lids smoothly.

Where can you find this?  I purchased mine at The Bay! It was around $40.

Rating: 5/5 Sigh... I love Chanel! hahah

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Skin Perfecting Makeup Spf 15

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Skin Perfecting Makeup Spf 15 30ml 1Fl oz.

What Chanel says it does:
A new-generation texture. An unprecedented sensory experience. A unique makeup result. Rapid and easy application. VITALUMIÈRE AQUA. Apply your makeup without thinking about it.

Its soft and evanescent ultra-fine fluid texture is a real surprise. Although it is exceptionally delicate and light, an incomparable “second-skin” perfecting result is achieved. The complexion appears amazingly even, fresh and energized. The skin glows with seemingly nude beauty. As if glowing from within. Bathed in light…

Its formula, endowed with a UVB sun filter and mineral sunscreen, protects the skin from damaging sun rays (SPF 15). Its crystalline fragrance accentuates the sensation of freshness and pleasure on application.

Hit or Miss? HIT!
(Skintype: Oily-Combination skin)
I've been searching for a light weight foundation that is easy to apply with a brush. As much as I love deals, if i'm going to put something on my skin I want to try and use better products. Using drugstore brand foundation always breaks me out so I decided to give the Chanel Vitalumiere are try and I loved it. Pricy yes, but oh so worth it.

Packaging:  It's in a rectangle bottle with a twist cap. It's a sleek little thing. Great for traveling.

Smell: Like they say, when you apply it you get a whiff of freshness. It's hard to describe the scent but I suppose you could say it's floral.

I got mine in B30 Beige Sable
Consistency: It's super light weight with flawless smooth coverage! It gives you a natural glow. I've been using it for about a month or two now and so far it did not break me out :) yay!

Shine or Matte: Surprisingly, I don't have to powder throughout the day which is great! But if I do feel like I see a bit of shine I use a tissue to get rid of shine.

How to apply: I use my Elf stippling brush to apply the foundation. No fuss or mess. You don't need much product. Give the bottle a shake. Just a small dot on your forehead, cheeks & chin is enough. Then blend away with the stippling brush. The fact that it's super light weight and more of a runny consistency it blends effortlessly.

Where can you find this?  I purchased mine at The Bay! It was around $50.

Rating: 5/5 :) LOVE IT! If you feel like spending a bit more on foundation I recommend the Vitalumiere! It's absolutely amazing!
